What do you enjoy most about running your own business?
I like being able to come up with new ideas and action them without having to pass it by anybody beforehand to solve problems, and not be hampered by management or people who want to play it safe.

What was your biggest digital marketing challenge prior to joining Click Engage Convert Academy?
Getting my business out there and learning about paid marketing after spending lots of money on marketing agencies.

What digital marketing challenges does being a member of the Academy solve for you and your business?
It gives me so many tools in so many different areas of marketing that have been a mystery to me. There is so much support and also a lot of action taking people that I can take inspiration from. There’s never a silly question, which is really valuable when you just need to get the job done, and you need someone you can trust to ask.

What’s your greatest digital marketing win since joining the Academy?
So far it has been learning more about hooks. I don’t mind getting on the camera, but I felt that my videos were long and drawn out, and I needed to find a way to create shorter, snappier videos for more reach. My next challenge is to take on Facebook ads.

What would you say to someone who is considering joining the Academy?
Absolutely do it. You’ll be amazed by how much information is available to you and the amazing supportive webinars and coaching. It really is a great place to start learning the world of marketing before you invest with somebody else. Take the time to learn the basics yourself.
